Detailed Description:
• High-standard, fully comfortable guesthouse
• Accommodates 12 people
• 3 rooms (3×2 people) + 1 gallery (4 people) + 2 separate beds on the ground floor
• 1 WC
• 1 bathroom + kitchen
This is an excellent option for larger groups as it can comfortably accommodate up to 12 people! Upstairs, there are 2 separate 2-bed rooms and a gallery area that can accommodate 4 people. On the ground floor, there is a kitchen, bathroom, and 2 additional beds. Located in Harghita County, Lesőd is practically adjacent to Csinód. It's a small village with a population of 12, so if you arrive with a larger group, you could nearly double the population! There's an additional small house on the property that can accommodate +2 people. The surroundings and the view are absolutely stunning, and the pictures speak for themselves! If necessary, you can find a "phone booth" 100 meters from the house where you can make and receive calls using your own device.
Our guesthouse operates as a vacation home. The house is located 2 km from Csinód, a mountainous Csángó village in the Úz Valley, away from the nearest asphalt road but accessible via a good quality gravel road with most passenger cars. From the perspective of mainland Hungary, the village resembles more of a countryside or rural area than a traditional village. There are no typical streets, houses are built near cart tracks along the brooks, and the plots of land can be quite large, up to 20 hectares.
The village has not been transformed to meet the demands of tourists; people here still live a self-sustainable lifestyle. The kitchen is fully equipped, and we've installed a wood-burning stove for heating. The bathroom features a wood-burning boiler for hot water. The house is heated by a prominent open fireplace with an enormous ceramic stove.
Full board is available.
Kati, the neighboring Csángó housewife, is happy to prepare traditional Csángó and Székely delicacies for you, using ingredients she grows herself and delivers to your doorstep. The milk comes from Vilma, her cow, and is used to make cottage cheese, cheese, and orda. The eggs are collected from the hens by Kati herself. The sourdough potato bread is baked in the oven. Syrups and jams are made from mountain wild fruits, and the tea is prepared from herbs. Additionally, delicious forest mushrooms are often found on the table. If you'd like, you can enjoy all of this in Kati's kitchen, which is like a complete folklore show in itself.
