Corvin Castle
One of the most spectacular and monumental castle fortresses in Transylvania, indeed in all of historical Hungary. The glory of the Hunyadi family, “the king of castles”. The mystical castle may be familiar to movie fans: it was here that the films Martin Luther and Nostradamus were shot, and more recently a film about the life of Henry VIII was made here.

Turda Salt Mine
Recently chosen among the world's 25 most incredible sights, the Turda Salt Mine is an underground marvel offering numerous recreational activities: a museum, Ferris wheel, playground, church, bowling and golf course, pool tables. There is also a boatable salt lake inside the mine. In summer, you can also bathe in two mining lakes near the entrance. The air in the mine aids in the treatment of asthmatics and allergy sufferers.

Peleș Castle
Built for the Romanian royal family before World War I. Austrian and German architects designed this neo-Renaissance palace. It attracts tourists with its beautiful furniture, paintings, and special architectural elements.

Bran Castle
From afar, the perfectly preserved Dracula Castle offers a picturesque view, located 30 km from Brașov. The castle stretches across a rock between two massive mountains, making it an excellent backdrop for any horror film.
The castle was built in 1382, hosting Hungarian kings and Transylvanian princes until it became the property of the Romanian royal family in 1920.

Lake Bicaz and Bicaz Gorge
The lake is a real natural rarity, one of the most famous landscapes of Transylvania. The sight of tree trunks protruding from the water's surface with the massive rock of Little Cohard in the background is unparalleled.

Bigăr Waterfall
Located in Caraș-Severin County on the Bigăr Nature Reserve. Some say this is the most special waterfall in the world. The Bigăr Waterfall is unique in that the water does not flow down in a single wide stream but separates into 45 small parallel water strands, creating a beautiful water curtain. The rock underneath the water is heavily covered with moss, giving this unique natural treasure a dazzling green shimmer.

Lake Ursu and Sovata
In 1875, the world's largest heliothermal lake formed on a salt karst in Sovata. The lake's shape resembles a bear skin, from which it gets its name. Bathers use the water, which can warm up to 35 degrees Celsius, for infertility treatments, as well as for rheumatic and inflammatory diseases.

Sighișoara
Here lies Transylvania's most picturesque medieval fortress quarter, part of the World Heritage since 1999. Sighișoara's main attraction is the medieval fortress, which is still inhabited. The symbol of the city is the Clock Tower, now housing a museum. Sighișoara is the birthplace of Bishop Vilmos Apor and Vlad Țepeș. Sándor Petőfi fell in battle on the outskirts of the city. The Sighișoara Medieval Festival is also held here every year.

Bâlea Waterfall
The Bâlea Waterfall is located in the Făgăraș Mountains, next to the Transfăgărășan road, at an altitude of 1234 meters, and can be admired from a distance, as no tourist path leads directly beside it. Nevertheless, many are attracted to the water that falls with a mighty roar, but its true dimensions can only be seen from the cable car. The water of Bâlea Lake plunges 60 meters deep to then continue its journey towards gentler landscapes through numerous frothy waterfalls.

Transfăgărășan Road
It's no exaggeration to say that this spectacular high-mountain road is world-famous. The road is only passable in summer due to the risk of avalanches. We can enjoy the breathtaking beauty of the landscape along 90 km and at an altitude of 2042 meters. You can admire the Bâlea Waterfall, Bâlea Lake, and Vidraru Lake.

Șumuleu Ciuc
The largest Pentecostal pilgrimage site for Hungarians, the most famous pilgrimage site in the Carpathian Basin. In Șumuleu Ciuc, the Franciscan church houses the world's largest statue of the miraculous Mary.

Praid Salt Mine
Of the halls formed in the excavated salt, one has been opened for visitors and those seeking healing. It's an excellent place for those suffering from respiratory diseases to heal. Recreation and entertainment are provided by an adventure park, playground, café, restaurant, shops, cinema, chapel. The internal temperature of the mine: 16 degrees Celsius.
